Summary
Why is it that our car or truck windshields are so much bigger than our rearview mirrors? In the Book of Philippians Paul talks about how he is putting the past behind him and looking forward. Not looking back. He is going to press on for the love of Christ. He was done with what was history, the past, and was now focusing only on the present and the future.

Paul was very clear about what we should do with the past and that is that it counts as nothing, that all that counts now is the present and the future. That we must press on in Christ's name and love and that we must continue to do the work of the Lord.
