Summary

This scripture is the story of the prodigal son who demanded his inheritance from his father, took it and left and went to another country and lived life in grand style, eating drinking and spending money foolishly. When he had spent all his money and was broke he had to go to work for a pig farmer feeding the pigs. He realized that the servants of his father were treated better and had food to eat so he decided to go back and tell his father he was not worthy but to make him a servant. The Father did nothing of the sort, instead he celebrated the return of his son in the most lavish of ways.
