Not where I wanted to be

Summary
So there are times in life where we find ourselves, "Not where I wanted to be", as was Paul's situation in Acts 21:30-36. The people of the city had turned on him after his conversion to being a follower of Christ. They were beating him until the soldiers commander came and ordered them to stop. Then he was put in chains and taken away from the crowd. The crowd was so intent on hurting him the soldiers had to carry him up the stairs. When Paul became a Christian he did not expect to be treated this way and I am sure he was saying to himself, "I don't want to be here, I don't want to be in this situation, yet here he was, right in the middle of it because of what God had called him to do.
