Keywords: heart, bad, seeds, reaping, weary, good, deceived, tired, drained, mocked, mock, harvesting. sowing

Summary

This passage of scripture refers to the God's Law of the Harvest. What ever you plant that is what you will reap. If you sow corn seeds you will reap corn, if you sow bean seeds you will reap beans. This is the law. if you sow wheat you will not harvest squash. The seeds you plant will dictate the harvest you reap. The same is true in our spiritual lives. The seeds we plant will be what we sow in from our Heavenly Father. If we sow good we will reap good, if we sow bad, we will reap bad. As Christians we may not see the outcome of our sowing here on Earth but we will receive our harvest in Heaven. God has promised this in verse, "...but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. " Paul also encouraged the Christians by telling them not to grow weary while doing good, for in due season or time, they shall reap if they do not lose heart.

Detail

The Law of the Harvest is very clear, we reap what we sow.  And as Humans we are not to be deceived about what we are reaping.  There will be a time of harvesting no matter what we think.   God has made it clear that those that reap bad seeds will receive their just rewards just as those that reap good seeds will receive theirs'.  God is not to be mocked, there is payment to be made by thinking you can get away with doing what ever you want as a Christian and you will get away with it.  He has made it clear we are to reap seeds of good, not bad, and those that reap the good seeds will get a good harvest.  The harvest may not happen here on Earth but in the next life where God will reward all those that toiled and sowed the seeds of good both to those not in the faith and to those in the faith.
