Summary
the Church of Ephesus on the surface looked to be doing all the right things; they were working hard furthering God's Kingdom, the were perserverant and caring, and they were intolerant of evil and worked hard to get rid of all evil. They looked really good, but unforturnately while they seemed to be doing all the right things, they had one thing they had forgotten. They had lost their orginal love for Christ and His message. They were going therough the motions but they were not loving God and being passionate about their love for Him. They were too wrapped up in doing the righting things and forgot to do the most imporant thing. Love God with all your heart and soul. Paul wanted them to come back to God, to quit worrying about doing the right things and start doing the thing that got them there in the first place, Love God with all your heart.
